8/12/2010 - Tonight at 8:00, on Paltalk online, Danny Rongo will have Joshua Lowe (my talented musician husband) on as his guest, on the Danny Rongo Show. Joshua will sing an original tune, and talk about our non-profit group, The Musicians Project, where we advocate for access to affordable care for American Musicians and their families. And Danny will do a beautiful show as usual, hopefully playing an original tune of his own. Please log on, and log in, for the good energy.

Michael Rushnak

Michael Rushnak:
Health Care Reform is not a Democratic issue. It is not a Republican issue. It is an
American issue. Whenever someone gets sick we call 911. I tell my
friends in Congress that this is our 911 moment. We need to join
Americans for Healthcare and let the President and Congressmen know that
we are all in this together.

We need to come together on healthcare. I sincerely believe that each of us has a personal responsibility, as human beings and as fellow Americans, to act with utmost civility toward one another and to act in such a manner as to strive for the greater good of all humanity.

Sean Forbes

Forbes helped start an organization called the Deaf Professional Arts
Network, or D-PAN. The goal of D-PAN, which has performed versions of
songs by John Mayer
and Christina Aguilera, is to make music accessible to the deaf and

Our Inspiration

David Williams

David WilliamsDavid Williams, a Vietnam war veteran, and guitarist for Madonna, Michael Jackson, Jessica Simpson, Lionel Richie and Van Halen, died at a Virginia hospital after he slipped into a coma, his family said.
Williams, who was suffering from complications related to high blood pressure, collapsed and was taken to Sentara Hospital in Hampton, Virginia. A family friend said that while Williams was in the hospital, he slipped into a coma and the hospital urged family members to “pull the plug because he had no medical insurance.”
“This man was a Vietnam veteran and gave his life to music and still had no benefits,” the friend continued.
The day before Williams passed away, his wife, Deborah, wrote a letter to the NY Daily News saying, “During this very difficult time where our focus should be on the nurturing and care of David, we are battling with hospital officials just to get and maintain the care he deserves, a hospital whose main interest lies in his ability to pay for his care.”
